After analyzing the definitions of the concept of "health", P.I. Kalju (1988) identified six of the most significant signs of health: • normal function of the body at all levels of its organization;

• complete physical, spiritual, mental and social well-being, harmonious development of the physical and spiritual forces of the body, the principle of its unity, self-regulation, harmonious interaction of all organs and systems;

generic prednisone without prescription:

  1. dynamic balance of the organism, its functions and environmental factors
  2. the ability to adapt to the constantly changing conditions of existence in the environment
  3. According to I.M. Vorontsova (2000), “the child's health is also the absence of signs of lagging or disharmony in development in all its directions, as well as the presence of a complex of factors and conditions for optimal subsequent development, guarantees of achieving high biologically determined levels of physical, intellectual and moral perfection, real provision of a long, painless and socially fruitful life. "
  4. As a rule, definitions of the essence of health refer to the entire population of the population (Agadzhanyan N.A. et al., 1990; Antonova N.N., 1998; Zelinskaya D.I., 1990; Kaznacheev V.N., 1995; Mamchur N. N., 1993; Serdyukovskaya G.N. et al., 1979).

Federal Law of the Russian Federation of November 21, 2011 No. 323-FZ defines: ≪ health - a state of physical, mental and social well-being of a person, in which there are no diseases, as well as disorders of the functions of organs and body systems.

The WHO definition of health has not been revised since the founding of WHO and has been criticized for its ideality of purpose. But it should be emphasized that the experts of the World Health Organization were able, by consensus, to develop a short, but very capacious for this period, definition of the concept of health.

According to the Charter of the World Health Organization (WHO), health is a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being, and not just the absence of disease (1946). Thus, the concept of “health” is broader than “non-disease”, since it includes not only the case of absence of disease, but also social, mental and physical components.

In this case, physical health is understood as the current state of the functional capabilities of the organs and systems of the body. Mental health is considered as a state of the human mental sphere, characterized by general mental comfort, providing adequate regulation of behavior and conditioned by the needs of a biological and social nature.

Social health is understood as a system of values, attitudes and motives of behavior in a social environment. The WHO definition implies that in different societies, different cultures, perceptions of health may differ. So, in a consumer society, social health is understood as the presence of material goods, and in a spiritual society (for example, a religious community) - spiritual purity, closeness to God, etc.
